Lewis Blue Price

Lewis Blue Price age 86 of Batesville departed this life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at UAMS in Little Rock.  He was born January 9, 1935 in Ogden, Utah to John Wesley and Edna (Blodgett) Price.  Lewis enjoyed writing poetry.    He graduated from college with a Masters Degree in History, Geography and Journalism.  He was a school teacher and a newspaper night editor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ernest Lewis Price;  daughter, Arlene Zelda Price; sister, Ruth Barton and  brothers, Charles Price and Thomas Price.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Zelda Leoan Davis Price; one son, Linden Barry Price; one grandson, Joshua Price; one granddaughter, Emily Craig; one sister, Alice Pitts of Utah; some cousins, including Alan Blodgett of Portland, Oregon; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

No funeral services are planned.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
