Mackey Hightower

Mackey Hightower, 62 of Sidney died Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1957 in Batesville, Arkansas to W.J. Hightower and Loural Brewer Hightower.  He was a retired construction worker and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Emily Hightower.

Survivors include a son, Austin Callaham of Kansas; a daughter, Shanna Hoey (Joseph) of Rogers; one brother, Donald Ray Hightower (Alice) of Evening Shade; one sister, Janie Morgan (Bob) of Brockwell; four grandchildren Jaden Hoey, Parker Hoey, Nicole Hoey and Lilly Callaham; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Cemetery in Sidney with Bro. Shannon Smith officiating.  Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Mynatt, Chan Bailey, Chris Smith, David Williams, Dusty Westmoreland and Tim Battles.

Honorary pallbearers are Doyle Love, Randal Craig, Daniel Love, David Love, Alfred Adams, Mark Newlin and Lance Newlin.
