Margie Louise Curtis

Margie Louise Curtis, 79 of Cave City died Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born April 26, 1940 at Emery, Arkansas to Olzie and Clara Pinkston Mahan.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Carla Rosetta Curtis; brothers, Noel Mahan, W.S. Mahan, Robert Mahan, Jewell Mahan and David Mahan and a sister, Goldie Mahan.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Johnnie Curtis of the home; sons, Ronald Curtis (Kathy) of Cave City and Scotty Curtis of Sidney; daughters, Linda Cooke (George) of Midway, Georgia and Loretta Barnes (Mike) of Cave City; sister, Norma Jean Barnett of Thayer, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen and Bro. Boyce Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Parsley Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Barnes, Alex Tinnesz, Dennis Blackmore, Joey Boone, Joseph Curtis and Joshua Curtis.

Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
