Mark Beckum, 51 of Rosie passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at his home.  He was born December 16, 1969 in Trumann, Arkansas to Jack F. and Dorothy Lee (Fike) Beckum.  He was a disabled construction worker and of the Baptist faith.  He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Leslie Beckum;   granddaughter, Addalin Beckum; paternal grandparents, John Henry and Bessie Beckum and maternal grandparents, Paul and Willie (Hayes) Fike.

Survivors include one son, Timothy Beckum (Kendall) of Pangburn; daughter, Ashtyne Beckum of Searcy; brother, Jackie Beckum (Jaqueline) of Rosie; sisters, Lisa Beasley (Sam “Hick”) of Rosie, Darla Jones (Damon) and Mandy Richardson (Ed) both of Batesville; grandson, Grayson Beckum and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Monday August 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maple Springs Cemetery at Rosie with Bro. Ricky Layton officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Beckum, Jackie Beckum, Sam “Hick” Beasley, Damon Jones, Jimmy McClurg, Nathan Richardson, Ed Richardson and Matthew Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are Dawson Kelly, Sammy Johns, Harold Glen Terry, Preston Jones, Jerry Allen, Danny Beckum, Anthony Creasey and Michael Skinner.
