Mary Lee Haywood

Mary Lee Haywood, 82, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born July 17, 1943 in Bradford, Arkansas to Grover and Opal (Thompson) McDougal. Mary was a homemaker and proud mother to her beloved children. She enjoyed time spent quilting and reading, and loved ducks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Wayne Haywood; one brother, Mark Dyer; and one sister, Linda Cavazos.

She is survived by her son, Dale Haywood of Syacruse, IN; her daughter, Pamela Coulter (Terry) of Momence, IL; one sister, Paula Dyer of Ash Flat, AR; four grandchildren, Dale Haywood Jr., Christina Haywood, Andrew Haywood, and Suezanna Haywood; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Cave City.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
