Matthew Tyler Burks

Matthew Tyler Burks, 20 year old from Cave City passed away December 3, 2024 in Batesville. He was born July 6, 2004 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Matthew was the son of Robert and Wendy Burks. 

Matthew enjoyed watching TV, playing games, spending time with family, particularly cherishing his dog, Bluie. He had a remarkable ability to make a positive impact on everyone he met, leaving an undeniable mark on the lives of those around him. He touched every soul he met. 

Matthew is laid to rest with his grandfather, Mike Burks.

Relatives still honoring Matthew include his grandma, Betty Burks; father, Robert Burks; mother, Wendy Smith; brother, Jaxson Burks; sisters, Haley and Jasmine; several aunts and uncles, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Qualls Funeral home of Cave City will be handling the arrangements for Matthew's passing.
