Mike Fowler

Mike Fowler, 68 of Batesville passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.  He was born August 6, 1952 in Turlock, California.  He was the son of R.E. Fowler and Wanda Beetle.  He was a Baptist minister for 50 years and was currently the pastor of the Floral Baptist Church where he has served for 9 years.  He was a Volunteer Firefighter for 39 years and was currently a member of the Floral Fire Department, where he served as Chaplain.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Elbert Fowler.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Kathy (Price) Fowler of the home; one son, David A. Fowler (Brandee) of Batesville; one daughter, Jennifer Holcomb (Jason) of White Hall; one brother, Johnny Fowler (Dena) of North Little Rock; one sister, Ulena Bradshaw (Russell) of Harrison; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Floral Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Garner, Bro. Ronnie Toon and Bro. Jerry Miller officiating.  Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Floral Baptist Church or Gideons International.
