Mildred "Jo" Crabtree

Mildred “Jo” Crabtree, 93, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born April 3, 1933 in Lynn, Arkansas to Gorden Lewis and Maye Hooten Lewis. She was an LPN for many years and worked at White River Health. Jo was one of the first employees of White River Health when they first opened. She was a member of the North Heights Church of Christ, being the oldest living member of the church. Jo enjoyed gardening, cooking, flowers, spending time with her family and friends, and driving her golf cart around the farm with her dog.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Estle Crabtree; one daughter, Sheila Collins; one son, Sam Saffell; and her brothers, Cyril Lewis, David Lewis, and Fred Lewis.

She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Edley (Chris) of Batesville, Arkansas and Marla Davis (Larry) of Batesville, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Carlton Wilson, Shane Wilson, Brandi Cesarski, Shannon Collins, Blake Collins, Holly Beckwith, Justin Saffell, Lindsey Calhoun, Malorie Toland, Chris Davis, Craig Davis, and Kelly Davis; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. View Cemetery in Cave City, Arkansas with Bro. Jimmy Hubbard officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, Arkansas.
