Mildred Strother

Mildred Strother, 93, of Hutchison Mountain, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born April 4, 1933 in Jamestown, Arkansas to Eulis Rorie and Madge Rorie. She was a homemaker and member of the Hutchison Mountain Church of Christ. She enjoyed collecting dolls, flowers, and babysitting children for her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 50 years, Monroe Strother; and one grandson, Andy Lee

She is survived by two daughters, Jane Strother and Luann Norris (Eric); two grandchildren, Rodney Lee and Nick Norris; five great grandchildren, Breanna Warren, Harmonie King, Brayden Lee, Gabriel Lee and Rhaenyra Norris; and two great-great grandchildren, Berklynn Warren and Jade Venegas Lee.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hutchison Mountain Church of Christ with Adam Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery in Hutchison Mountain.

Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Lee, Brayden Lee, Elijah Kelley, Nick Norris, Luke Strother, and Paul King.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Strother, Doug Strother, Roger Strother, David Stroter and Eric Norris.
