Oleta “Janie” Kling, 75, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Monday January 26, 2026 in Cave City. She was born April 28, 1950 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Otea and Myrtle (Ashbrook) Crafton. She owned her own business, The Hair Barn, for many years and attended the Weavers Chapel FWB Church. She enjoyed watching old westerns, scrapbooking, quilting and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lewis Kling; one daughter, Shelly Duncan; one brother, Aaron Crafton; and eight sisters, Ann Radke, Mary Goldtrap, Betty Horton, Ina Mae Crafton, Ruby Crafton, Cristine Wilson, Marie Hallbrook and Dora Harrison.
She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Kling (Kyra) of Desha, Arkansas and Phillip Kling (Audrey) of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, Melissa Stout (Marcus) of Cave City, Arkansas; one brother James Crafton of Cave City, Arkansas; two sisters, Donna Bagby of Texas and Mildred Lowe of Texas; seven grandchildren, Devin, Destiny, Morgan, Nathan, Darin, Ethan and Asia; and four great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Weavers Chapel FWB Church with Bro. Steve Sawrie officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Cave City.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.
Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Homes.
Pallbearers will be Darin Evans, Ethan Evans, Nathan Stout and Jimmy Crafton.
