Patsy June Yocum

Patsy June Yocum, 71 of Newark passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home.  She was born September 6, 1950 in Batesville, Arkansas to Charles Barlow and Sylvia Plaster Jackson.  She had a long career in banking having worked at Citizens Bank and Arvest Bank and was currently  employed by First Community Bank in Batesville.   She started a Senior Citizens Travel Club at Arvest Bank that other banks have modeled.  She was a member of North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Shirley Webster and her mother and father-in-law, Bob and Irma Yocum.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Yocum of the home; two sons, Gregory Bridgman (Sandy) of Southside and Cary Yocum (Melissa) of Colorado; two daughters, Brittney DeVazier  (Grant) of Horseshoe Bend and Stephanie Hammons (Crey) of Willis, Texas; one brother, Charles “Butch” Jackson (Cora Sue) of Batesville; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel   with Alex Mills officiating.    Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery at Salado.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brett Jackson., Bradley Jackson, Parker Jones, Chandler Ward, Dennis Yocum and Jerry Henderson.
