Paul D. Nixon

Paul D. Nixon, 82 of Poughkeepsie passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  He was born June 24, 1939 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Gordon and Gerthie Nixon.  He was a retired machinist and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patricia Louise Nixon of the home; one son, Kevin Eugene Nixon and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Nixon of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandsons, Michael Nixon (Valerie) and Steven Nixon; five granddaughters, Kristin Shriver (Rick), Sara King (Tim), Jennifer Cline (Dylan), Melissa Nixon (Daniel Sawyer) and Abbigail Nixon; fifteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private family memorial services will be held.  Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral home of Cave City.
