Paul Wayne Seay, 91, of Guion passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at his home. He was born February 11, 1932 in Calico Rock to Gulley and Stella (Wayland) Seay. He worked for Silica Products/Unimin Corp. in Guion for 55 years and was a member of the Pineville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He also served in the United States Army where he was part of the Military Police in the Korean War/Conflict. Paul enjoyed spending his time cattle farming. Paul served on the board of directors at First National Bank of Izard County for 55 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; on grandson, John David Seay; four brothers and two sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Seay of the home; two sons, David Seay (Kay Weyen) of Big Cabin, Oklahoma and Paul Glenn Seay (LaRae) of Nashville, Tennessee; three daughters, Paulette Seay (Forrest Brown) of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Sharyn Moxley (Eret) of Guion, Arkansas, and Karyn Qualls (Jeff) of Evening Shade, Arkansas; twenty grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pineville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Chris Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineville Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Moxley, Justin Seay, Austin Seay, Abram Qualls, Asher Qualls, Ayden Qualls and Ryan Brock.
Honorary pallbearers are Dwight Wayland, Kenny Willis, Kenny Thornton, Hayden Noel Wyatt, Terry Seay and Jerry Frazier.
