Randy Bernard Ratliff

Randy Bernard Ratliff, 76, of Cave City, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Cave City.  He was born September 6, 1947 in Batesville to Jewel and Anna Joyce (Rodgers) Ratliff. 

He was a cattle farmer and loved feeding his animals. He enjoyed hunting, loved to travel, and was always interested in politics.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beverly Ratliff. 

Survivors include his wife, Gwenda Ratliff of the home; two sons, Kirk Ratliff (Wyndi) of Evening Shade and Jeremy Ratliff (Charlotte) of Sidney; one step-son, Patrick Carter (Cerena) of Hoxie and one step-daughter, Lindsey Steiner (Tyler) of Pleasant Plains; one sister, Barbara Farnam (Jim) of Cabot, three grandchildren, Gracen Caraway, Korbin Ratliff and Ashley Crafton; five step-grandchildren, Lily Thacker, Stephen Furr, Jassie Thacker, Nash Greer, Zaylor Carter and one great-grandchild, Henry Crafton.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Anthony Croslin and Mike Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to service time at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Carter, Tyler Steiner, Korbin Ratliff, Riley Caraway, Brady Crafton, and Phillip Pickett.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Dixon, Sonny Powell, Tommy Estes, and Larry Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Independence County Humane Society.
