Rebecca Patra Brown

Rebecca Patra Brown, 47, of Strawberry passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Strawberry. She was born November 29, 1978 at Texarkana, TX. She was a DHS clerical worker and a member of Souls Harbor Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading books, and tanning.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Glen Ballard, Jr., Franky Ballard, and Eugene Ballard; two sisters, Tori (Victoria) Porter and Denna Ballard.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, John David Brown of the home; her parents, Ricky and Rose Rodgers; one son, Jon Brown; two daughters, Hanna Ballard and Samantha Leann Scott; two brothers, Tommy Patterson (Sabrina) and Jason Patterson (Dawn); five grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 16, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Sam Manuel, Bro. Jason Patterson, and Bro. Larry Sellers officiating.

Visitation will begin Friday, May 16, 2025, 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
