Rosemary Townsend

Rosemary Townsend, 86, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 in Cave City, Arkansas. She was born June 7, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Joseph Townsend and Mabel Miller Townsend. She was a Cartographer for the state of Minnesota for 40 years and of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed cats, collecting dolls and dollhouses, and an animal lover.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Joe Townsend, Bill Townsend, Donnie Townsend and Grant Townsend; her sisters, Harriett Hess, Katie Townsend and Lois Townsend.

She is survived by her sister Eleen Merritt of Cave City, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date in Minnesota.
