Roy Milligan

Roy Milligan, 81 of Charlotte, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born a twin on November 27, 1944 in Hampton, California to Jack and Judy Milligan. He was a truck driver for many years and a member of the Charlotte Church of Christ. Roy loved being with his beloved family, carpenter work, horses, and motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dale Milligan, twin brother, Ronnie Milligan, and Bobby Milligan.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Milligan; his daughters, Connie Jennings, Sonia Day (Craig), Kathy Boozier (Brandon), and Faith Renee Johnson (John); his brother, Jeff Milligan (Teresa); his sisters, Gail Ellis (James) and Hope Jones; eight grandchildren, Josh Jennings, Rickey Jennnings, Dustin Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Casey Galloway, Colton Galloway, Kourtney Johnson, and Keeli Johnson; twenty six great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Charlotte Church of Christ with Chuck Crow officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Josh Jennings, Rickey Jennings, Dustin Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, C.J. Ellis, and Kavin Caldwell.

Honorary pallbearer is Big Rick Jennings.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Davita in Searcy, Arkansas and Dr. Mock and his staff for the excellent care they provided to Mr. Roy.
