Sammy L. Archer

Sammy L. Archer, 83 of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020. He was born June 28, 1936 in Joplin, Missouri.  He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Marine Veteran and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Archer, one son, George Edward Archer; a grandson, Austin James Archer and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include son, James Archer (Ila) of Mountain Home; daughter, Samantha Stults (Ron) of Sevierville, Tennessee; brothers, Tony McCurdy (Vickie) and Vernon McCurdy (Carin) both of Newton, Kansas; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
