Sammy O. Asberry

Sammy O. Asberry, 83 of Cave City died Sunday, April 7, 2019. He was born September 3, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas to Earl and Tiny Runsick Asberry.  He was a retired carpenter and of the Missionary Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kayrene Asberry; son, Brent Asberry; brother, Billy B. Asberry and sisters, Jasmine Musick, Georgie Arnn, Jo Hughes, Jettie Reese and Jayetta Clem.

Survivors include daughter, Tammy Brown (Ken) and grandchildren, Kinlee Brown and Evan Brown all of Cave City; sisters, Joy Hutson of Southside and Geta Davis of Jonesboro and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery at Cave City with Ken Brown officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers will be Ken Brown, Danny Howell, Timothy Kourakis, Ron Hudson, Bob Vichkon and Ray Landers.

Honorary pallbearers are Evan Brown, Roger Nicholson and Kenny Hutson.
