Sharon Reed Plautz

Sharon Reed Plautz, 80 of Locust Grove died Friday, November 23, 2018 at her home. She was born July 15, 1938 at Batesville, Arkansas to Albert Clee and Della Mae (Kerlin) Reed.  She was a retired beautician, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Concord.  She also attended the Concord Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald R. Plautz Sr. and two brothers, Seville Reed and Darrell Reed.

Survivors include one son, Donald R. Plautz Jr. of Erie, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Roxanna Plautz of Concord; three grandchildren, Amanda Maness, James Plautz and Charlie Gardner; three great grandchildren; Chandler Maness, Lillian Maness and Olivia Plautz and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Plautz, Chandler Maness, Junior Maness, Jimmy Hallmark, Gary Bullard and Blanton Reed.

Honorary pallbearer is Glen Kerlin.
