Thomas Charles Knappenberger

Thomas Charles Knappenberger “Tom”, 76, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away in his home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was the son of Murry O. Knappenberger and Dorothy J. Knappenberger (McKee). Tom was a tool salesman for years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Evening Shade. He enjoyed football, fixing old cars, playing pool, and listening to music from the oldies.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Michael Thomas Knappenberger.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa K. Kromer of Indiana, PA; his brother, Ken Knappenberger (Darlene) of Oconomowoc, OH; his sisters, Barbara Salzman (Randy) of Macedonia, OH and Janet Rein (Scott) of Kyle, Saskatchewan, Canada; his nieces and nephews, Katie Salzman of Macedonia, OH, Kevin Salzman (Kayla) of Hamilton, OH, Ryan Knappenberger (Katie) of Glenview, IL and Allen Knappenberger of Maplewood, MN; and eight great nieces and nephews; one grandson, Chase; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.

The family extends a special thank you to Aunt Goldie Goodman, Uncle Cecil Knappenberger, and Cousin Amy and her daughter, Lilly for their love and support looking after Tom.
