Tommie Lou Williams

Tommie Lou Williams age 84 of Evening Shade passed from this life on Friday, April 12, 2019 surrounded by her family at Eagle Crest Nursing Home in Ash Flat. She was born January 17, 1935 in Zion, Arkansas to George W. and Gertie L. (Fudge) Tomlinson.  She was a homemaker and retired from Wal-Mart.  She was baptized as a member of Zion Baptist Church as a small child and was a member of First Baptist Church at Evening Shade.  She cherished the time spent with family and friends, camping, dancing and cookouts.  She was loved and will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bill L. Williams; her daddy and mother, George W. and Gertie L. (Fudge) Tomlinson; her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Norma Jean (Wilson) Tomlinson and a nephew, Randy Wilson Tomlinson.

Survivors include one daughter, Connie Fore and husband Wayne of Cherokee Village; two sons, Brent Williams and Kelley Williams and wife Fay both of Evening Shade; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Fore and wife Amber of Cave City, Andrea Taylor and husband Danny of Cherokee Village, Angel Williams of Rosie, Shala Nail and husband Nick of Little Rock, Bridget English of Conway, Nick and Richard Houghton of Evening Shade; 7 great grandchildren, Jacob and Maddie Fore of Cave City, Ellie and Jackson Davis, Jesse and Dakota Taylor of Cherokee Village, Kendra, Jesslyn and Angie Williams of Rosie; 2 sister-in-laws, Betty Weaver of Cave City and Ernestine Slade of Evening Shade; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Robert Hutchison and Bro. Alvin Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery at Zion.  

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Fore, Jacob Fore, Richard Houghton, Nick Houghton, Kenny Love and John Wolfe.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul C. Slade, Steve Williams, Johnny Love, Ronald Weaver and Wayne Fore.
