Veda Marie Fulbright

Veda Marie Fulbright, 100 of Apopka, Florida died Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was born January 31, 1918 in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas to Osmer and Artie Weatherford Lewis.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Forest Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church in Apoka, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Washington Fulbright; four brothers, John Lewis, Remmel Lewis, Homer Lewis and Bernard Lewis and one grandson, Robert Fulbright.

Survivors include one son, Rodney Fulbright (Harriet) of Apopka, Florida; one brother, Jay “Junior” Lewis of Angwin, California; three grandchildren, Michael Fulbright of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Michelle Young (Robert) of Louisville, Kentucky and Shawna Wood (Jeff) of Acworth, Georgia; eight great grandchildren; granddaughter-in-law, Yvonne Fulbright of Apopka, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Barren Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant with Michael Fulbright, Jay Lewis and Jeff Wood officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
