Venita June Strauser Hagler, 74, of Strawberry passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Batesville. She was born August 29, 1951 in Camp to Clarence and Mary (Hardin) Strauser. She was a retired caregiver and of the Pentecostal faith. Venita enjoyed her garden, flowers, going camping, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Marcella Thacker and twelve siblings.
Survivors include one son, Robert Carpenter of Strawberry; two brothers, Leroy Strauser of Camp, Donnie Strauser of Strawberry; two sisters, Beverly Strauser of Strawberry, Janie Riley of Cave City; two grandchildren, Ashley Jones (Bobby Joe) of Strawberry, C.R. Thacker (Sassy) of Augusta; seven great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
