Virginia Noelene Andrews, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2021. She was born on January 29, 1941, to Noel Henry Andrews and Mary Virginia Seuberth Andrews in Batesville, Arkansas. She grew up with her sister Sue, and brother Ken. She was the first grandchild welcomed into the Seuberth and Andrews families.
Virginia graduated from Batesville High School in 1958 and received a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University in 1963. She spent several years teaching in various locations, including a year in Lanai, Hawaii. She retired from teaching at Wonder Elementary School in West Memphis, Arkansas.
In addition to her extended family members, including several nieces and cousins, she treasured her “church family” at First Baptist Church West Memphis. Virginia was very active in the children’s ministries programs, to include Bible Buddies and Awana Cubbies. She volunteered to help with the children’s choir, Vacation Bible School, and creating bulletin boards. She was also a member of the adult choir and taught Sunday School. Virginia enjoyed taking photographs of church activities and events.
Virginia is survived by her sister Sue Forte, of St. Charles, Illinois, and brother, Ken (Jean Ann) Andrews, of San Antonio, Texas.
