Wanda Woods James

Wanda Woods James, 85, of Ridgeland, Mississippi died Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born June 23, 1933 at Sidney, Arkansas to Lester Wade and  Emma Juanita (Dale) Woods. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of The Grove Baptist Church in Poagville, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, J.B. Woods, Charles Woods, Everett Woods and Dowl Woods and one sister, Anna Mae Onstead.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Thomas James Sr. ; two sons, Darrell Lee Roberts of Pearl, Mississippi and Harold Wayne Roberts (Vickie) of Brandon, Mississippi; one sister, Ella Faye Robbins of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Roberts (Megan), Kevin Spencer Roberts, and Sara Roberts; two great-grandchildren, William Grayson Roberts and Collin James Roberts; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Boyce Gale Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery located at Zion.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Woods, Travis Woods, Taylor Woods, Gayle Woods, Kevin Roberts, Ken Roberts and Mike Dailey.

Honorary pallbearers are J.B. Woods, Charles Woods, Everett Woods, Dowl Woods and Anna Mae Onstead.
