Wanda Wilkett Watts, age 80, of Desha died Monday, August 1, 2022 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born on October 13, 1941 in Marvell, Arkansas to Charles Wilkett and Edith Opal Fannon Wilkett.
Wanda ran a daycare in Cave City, Arkansas for several years, and then worked as a caregiver. She loved dancing, fishing, working in her yard and was always ready to go. She attended Rehobeth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley Watts; her son, Terry Hutichison; twin granddaughters, Heather Hill and Alicia Smith and her brothers, John Wilkett and Charlie Wilkett.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Ritchie; her brother, Bill Wilkett and sister, Barbara Smith both of Florida; her grandchildren, Latasha Gann and Steven Patterson; her great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; special neighbors, Sharon and James Harris and a host of friends.
There will be no services per Wanda’s request. She will be buried in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
