Willa Jean Richmond, 98, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Cave City. She was born April 17, 1928 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to Hurdle and Ina (Simpson) Stutts. She worked for many years at Gen-Corp and was a longtime member of the Little Springs Missionary Baptist Church of Poughkeepsie before joining First Baptist Church of Cave City in her later years. She enjoyed time spent quilting and cooking. She also enjoyed precious times with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Richmond; one grandson, Jason Sean Richmond; one brother, Kenneth Stutts; and one sister, Jennie Anderson
She is survived by her son, Larry Richmond (Kathryn) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; one brother, Charles Stutts of Sherwood; one granddaughter, Dana Renee Conners; six great grandchildren; two great – great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery in Poughkeepsie under the direction of Qualls Funeral Homes.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Pallbearers will be Gary Woods, Chris Woods, Scott Stutts, Steve Anderson, Bill Anderson and Jackie Pickett.
