William “Bill” Jones, 70 of Cave City died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his home. He was born September 21, 1947 at Clarendon, Arkansas to William Ira and Bernice Geneva (Cooper) Jones. He was a retired construction worker, a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church at Highland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Linda Kay Jones; two brothers, Dub Jones and Henry Jones and three sisters, Janie Jones, Georgia Curie and Lela Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Janis Jones of the home; one son, John Jones (Lisa) of Cave City; three daughters, Julie Pollock (Link) of Missouri, Shelly Mooneyhan (James) of Cave City and Kelly Bahus of West Plains, Missouri; one step-daughter, Tiffany Weaver (Mike) of Alvarado, Texas; one step-son, David Shelton of Arlington, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City.
