William (Bill) Lee Lewis, age 76, of Cave City, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, in his home. He was born March 19, 1945 in Cave City, Arkansas to Virgil Lewis and Dorothy Brewer Lewis.
William was retired from Hurley Gas Company, but never stopped working. He enjoyed working on the farm, cutting wood, and working on farm equipment. He loved the outdoors, horseback riding, and watching basketball, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks. William loved his family deeply and enjoyed helping with all their projects and being involved in all their activities. He was an active member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Cave City and served the Lord and his family his whole life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Carol Sue (Wink) Lewis , a son Michael Lewis, two daughters, Karen Miller, and Judy McDoniel, a sister, Louise Marlin, four grandchildren, Morgan (Miller) Burchfield, Matthew Miller, Hunter Lewis, and Kaylee McDoniel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin Friday, December 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Trent Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery located in Cave City.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Marlin, David Marlin, Henry Brewster, Gary Moser, Larry Wilson, and Todd Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Shorty Coles, Vernon Satterwhite, Dewayne Satterwhite, Terry Bradley, Charles Stephens, and Jimmy Morgan.
