William "Rodell" Bower

February 18, 1936 — July 13, 2023

William “Rodell” Bower departed this world on Thursday, July 13, 2023. He was born February 18, 1936 in Walnut, Arkansas to John and Janie Bower. In 1955, he migrated north to Constantine, Michigan where he remained until his retirement in 2005 from United Travel Trailers. On August 4, 1972, he married the love of his life, Judy Schooley in Elkhart, Indiana. Together they shared over 50 years married.

Rodell was an avid lifelong hunter who greatly enjoyed woodworking in his retirement years. In 2005, Rodell and Judy moved to Cave City, Arkansas to enjoy their retirement in the sunshine and with mild winters. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; eight siblings; and two granddaughters.

Rodell is survived by his wife, Judy Bower of the home; Donna McCreary (Charles) of Cassopolis, MI; William Bower of Tucson, AZ; Gena Harmon (Thomas) of Union, MI; Alan Workman (Glee) of Elkart, IN; Carrie Sieracki (Rocky) of Mishawaka, IN; John Bower of White Pigeon, MI; Jeff Workman of Mishawaka, IN; Thomas Bower (Nancy) of Constantine, MI; and Dianna (Dennis) Strahan of Mishawaka, IN. Also surviving are his eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren who will miss him dearly.

Cremation will take place and a Memorial with family and friends will be planned at a later date.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Arkansas.
