Eric L. Peterson

Eric L. Peterson age 63 of Cave City died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at a Little Rock hospital. He was born October 20, 1951 at San Antonio, Texas to Dale and Virginia ( Brashear) Peterson. He was a truck driver having worked for Ronnie Dowdy Trucking in Batesville for many years. He was also an avid fisherman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Evening Shade. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janelle Wolford. Survivors include his life partner, Judy Little of Cave City; one son, Leland A. Peterson of England; one daughter, Venita M. Peterson of Pearland, Texas; one brother, Stephan Peterson of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Veneta Searcy of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery located at Sidney. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Little, James Little and Jammie Nash.
